Is the app really free?
Yes. Habit Tracker is 100% free with no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads. Every feature is available from day one.
Is my data backed up?
Habit Tracker stores data locally on your device. Your data is included in your iPhone's iCloud or iTunes backup if you have backups enabled in iOS Settings.
Can I transfer my data to a new iPhone?
Yes. When you set up a new iPhone and restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup, Habit Tracker and all your data will be transferred automatically.
How does the streak work?
Your streak counts consecutive days you completed your habit. Crucially, it skips days that aren't in your schedule — so a rest day won't break your gym streak. Your streak is also preserved if today isn't checked in yet.
What is the Strength Score?
The Strength Score is a 0–100 number that reflects your consistency over time. You earn +10 points for each completed day and lose −5 points for each missed scheduled day. It's calculated from the full history of your habit.
What schedule types are available?
Four types: Daily (every day), Specific Days (e.g. Mon/Wed/Fri), Times Per Week (e.g. 3x/week on any days you choose), and Every N Days (e.g. every 2 days). Tap the info icon when creating a habit for detailed examples.
My notifications aren't working. What should I do?
Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Habit Tracker and make sure notifications are enabled. The app will also show a warning on the Habits tab if system notifications are disabled.
