Data We Collect
Habit Tracker stores all your data locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers.
The app stores the following data locally on your device:
- Habit names, icons, colors, and schedules you create
- Daily check-in records and completion history
- Notification preferences and reminder times
- App settings and preferences
Data We Do Not Collect
- No account registration is required
- No personal information (name, email, phone) is collected
- No location data is accessed
- No usage analytics or crash reports are sent to us
- No internet connection is used by the app
- No data is sold or shared with third parties
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app uses iOS UserNotifications to schedule local notifications. These are processed entirely on your device — no data is sent externally.
Data Backup
Your habit data is included in your iPhone's iCloud or iTunes backup if you have device backups enabled in iOS Settings. This is handled entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy.
